My grandma's always insisted on being called by her name & not "grandma" I think she'd be mortified if people knew she was old enough to have a 32 year old granddaughter - I imagine Audrey's the same & insists Bethany calls her Audrey rather than great granny!

Possibly, although given that Nick, Sarah and David all call her Gran, and Bethany calls Gail Gran (sometimes in the same breath as calling Audrey Audrey), I doubt it'll fool anyone except Kirk.
What the hell was all that about? How does Fayemeian know the flat key is under the counter..... Contrived springs to mind?
You mean of the flat where her dad and her used to live, and only a couple of minutes ago in this very episode Faye mentioned her Dad getting locked out and having to get the spare key from Sophie in the shops.
Which of Course begs the question, what on earth would Tim have done if he had got locked out in the middle of the night when the shop is shut?
Why on earth would Dev keep the key beneath the counter where it could easily be taken by anyone? The answer is he wouldn't and would probably keep it in the office instead but Corrie is full of such contrivances these days.

He will soon be back to speaking those three little words
'Fries with that?'
He could try smashing 'em against Eileen's, but he'd be in danger of getting permanently lodged up it.

Very Disconcerting, shots far too close of characters.
I've seen this before on Corrie.
That's quite a jamaco
