Good win for the lad, took a massive gamble and it paid off sweetly. Also a condensed show too, made for better viewing, although not that Channel 4 will care, they need to pad it out as its cheaper.
The last few games in general have been better which is good. Maybe that is the reason for the small climb in ratings this last week? It is hovering around 1.4m mark, I'm sure last month it was below 1m.
Much as I love the game at the end of the day lets be honest for most its about how much money you walk away with and I think to many dismiss the eraly offers too quickly.
£15k as an opening offer today dererved much more consideration imo.
