Hi and welcome to the launch show of dancefloor, and now the hunt is on to see who will succeed Jess and Pasha as champions of the dancefloor.

Thirteen contestants are now about to find out who they will be paired with - and I will start in order of who signed first etc.

First to sign up was Ross

Ross for you we have lured back a former pro champion of dancefloor....

    So thirteen couples - and you will each face the challenge of the Cha Cha and the waltz in round 1

    You will eahc dance the Cha Cha and the waltz, and your scores from the judges will be added together to form the leaderbaord.

    Seven of you will dance the waltz on Good Friday, with the other six performing the Cha Cha

    On Easter Sunday the dances will be reversed, so the first elimination will be on Sunday.
