to see replace him?

I think that they should hire George Faber

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0264480/

Or

Sita Williams

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0931707/

Both are more than capable from their CV of sorting out the mess Eastenders is in very quickly.

Did you read all of the shows he has worked on? He also worked on The Devil's ****, Inspector George Gently and Wild At Heart! would you be worried he'd turn it into these shows as well? He'd be perfect. A mix of all fields is what a soap like Eastenders needs and make the diverse soap for all ages & tastes just like it should be.

You are aware that producers are capable of making more than one type of show, right?

Mr Bean could do a better job then the team of writers we have now.

    How about John Sullivan :).

Russel T Davies!! Just look at what Phil Collinson has done for Corrie fresh from Doctor Who...
Seriously I think RTD would be very good.
    How about Deidrick Santar?
    I'll get me coat...

Maybe Steve Frost would be a good choice. Imagine if Anita Turner was producer it would be ten times worse than what it is now.

Maybe 'mess' is the wrong word, I think 'one foot in the grave' is a more appropiate way to describe Eastenders at present. Why cant it go back to how it used to be 1 year ago

Why do people rate RTD? he is a cheese factory.
Dr. Who/TW is smug, contrived and thinks it's a lot better than it is.

You mean trudging through a dull, mechanical, contrived, character-butchering crawl to the big Christmas episode?

I'm fairly sure that's pretty much what we're getting atm lol :p

Reshoots and re writes would suggest it is in a mess, you cannot state your opinion as fact.

Steve November is currently busy at Emmerdale, not to mention he is head of ITV Continuing drama and is still involved with Corrie too :p

    Imagine EE...Kim Crowther style D:

He's not going to get sacked/leave

I'm sure the ratings have increased since he's been there or at least stayed the same.

Sita Williams definitely she produces some great TV drama, but its seems woman producers are quite cursed in Soap Land, never turns out well for some reason

Don't think either of them stated it as a fact...!

Reshoots and re writes could be down to a number of things, not just suggesting EE is in a mess.

How can you say that? Julia Smith brought us EE in the first place!

    I said it 'seems' most of the woman producers in recent years have got quite a slating;

    Louise Berridge (EE)
    Kim Crowther (Corrie)
    Anita Turner (Emmerdale)
    Kathleen Beedles (Emmerdale)
    Kathleen Hutchison (EE)
    Lucy Allan (Hollyoaks)

Just a few examples, obviously it doesn't mean it concerns every female producer in soap but still you do see a pattern occurring.

Maybe but it is a ratings banker and earns the BBC a lot in sales and merchandising, EE is like a deadweight when it comes to earning revenue from overseas sales and merchandising in fact it has flopped when presented for sale to overseas networks.RTD may not be all that but he did successfully relaunch the BBC's flagship production.

it was and never will be about ratings, why can't you understand that?

And are you stating it as fact or opinion that he won't be sacked/leave.?
