Well we don't know for sure that Mad May is only back for 2 weeks, it's just assumed because that is when the explosion happens. It did look quite like her arm, she used to be quite pale.
Well it depends what you count as being a child, I mean i've watched it back on iPlayer and i'm 100% sure it wasn't a child of Tiffany or Liam's age but it could well have been a teenagers hand. But I don't think it was Whitney because she wears those sovereign rings doesn't she?
I don't think we'll find out, surely it'd have been mentioned in the spoilers who it was if we were going to. I doubt it was Mad May because I'm sure someone would spot her walking round the square in broad daylight but hey, I could be wrong.
