I am also in the market for a new TV and, like you, Panasonic was at the top of my list due to everyone raving about the picture quality of their plasmas. I wasn't aware of this issue until I read this thread and now I too will be looking elsewhere.
Frankly I'm astonished that a prestigious manufacturer such as Panasonic would introduce a feature which makes their TVs look so cheap.
Freeview, guideplus + and Radio Times along the top and Arriva on the side
Freesat hasnt any. I dont think you see any less info of the EPG .
I am sure Radio Times magazine wouldnt have such adverts on such a prestigous publication

It's a bit fiddly with Vista (but that's because it's Vista), dead easy with XP though.
