That's brillient for them, really didn't think it would do that well as their last few singles have flopped. Really glad this one has done well though:)
Pete's song is ok. Not really smash hit but i respect him because he is one of the few artists I have personally come across (not in person of course) that is actually generally proud of his music and is loving how his new direction is going. There are so many successful artists out there but i don't believe many of the ones we all know and love are actually in full agreement in how their music goes.
Shame Never leave you won't be number 1 anyway but oh well.
Bloc Party and Andre will fall from those positions come the real chart on sunday as i woul say most of the purchases are fanbase puchase not the casual music buyer
According to reports, Peter's song has had some heavy airplay. I think that's a bit weird because my mum always listens to heart fm and I am a radio 1 junkie. I have not heard his song played once at all on either one. So it must be airplay on music channels.
