I just read in the mail that they were born at 33 weeks weighing 5lb 4oz and 5lb 10oz - that's really good for babies born that early isn't it? And especially considering they're twins!

Me and my Twin brother were just over 5lb and they told my mother at the time that was quite big for twins :)

Congrats to her, especially considering her long struggle to have children.

I've known full-term twins who have weighed about the same as that at birth, and have known full term single babies who have weighed not much more!

Aww congratulations to both of them.
I got to 37 weeks and my boys were 6lb 1 and 4lb 5. So they are really good weights!
Hope they are all ok x

I guess it depends, single babies normally weigh more than that, twins are generally smaller. But then some babies can be really little and then others big. I know a woman that was nearly a stone at birth:eek:
