    U2--California
Hozier - take me to church in my opinion blew everything else out of the water

I love this song, too.I never would've guessed on first hearing the song that Hozier was a singer from Ireland. What an amazing voice :)

U2 should get Hozier to support them on their Innocence & Experience Tour next year :) I'm going to both their shows in Glasgow and I'd love to hear 'Take Me To The Church' live.Bono's a huge fan so it could happen.

If I had to pick one....probably Ariana Grande - Problem feat. Iggy Azalea. That hook.

Strong runners up in the form of Katy B - Still, Nicki Minaj - Bed of Lies, Alt-J - Hunger of the Pine and Jhene Aiko - Bed Peace

I am glad about all of you who have nominated Taylor Swift with Shake It Off, as I think it is my favourite song of 2014! :)

The next 3 would probably include Ella Henderson with Ghost, Chromeo with Jealous, and a song called My Time, which you would be forgiven for thinking was called "Just My Time". Alas I don't know who sung it. :(

It's hard to tell because by this point, every song worth a mention has been played to death and they just annoy me now.

Have to go with Uptown. It's just an absolute bop and was robbed of Xmas number 1

It's been a great year for pop music as all the choices here show.

Going to have to go with 'Happy' as my choice though. I know it annoys some people, but it always makes me feel happier when I hear it and that's enough for me. Considering the number of times that actually was, well let's just say it's been a happy year :D.

I love Happy, but I forgot to add it to my list.:D
