I think it's important that people feel comfortable with who they are. Realistically you know in your heart that however you feel about your your own sexuality is not about to change. Extend that to others and you have the full picture.
If people are in an environment where they've been subjected to hatred and homophobia I would suggest that they get out of it or try to make people understand. Ironically, as if life, the primary source of understanding and patience in this thread has come from those who are constantly under attack for who they are. They are used to is and so are resilient. You are resilient too, and I would suggest you point that attribute in a direction that genuinely helps yourself and others.
No more from me in this thread (you'll be pleased to know).

ok well, I did listen to what you said and I didn't mean to be mean or anything, I just disagree.
no well by convenience, I mean at the risk of being a bit lurid, a vagina is lubed up and it expands and contracts for sex naturally, you both get off at roughly the same time.
If you have anal sex you need to do a lot of stuff and it's unhygienic and leads to all kinds of problems down the line. Hence a lot of the guys don't even do it.
Lesbian sex, well they need to buy things and fingers dont get aroused like a penis.
I know the answer would be to change society, but science would be faster.
dutch caps aren't, you didn't say diaphram. Plus they aren't even necessary to have sex so they are beside the point.
A normal healthy man and woman don't need to do anything to have sex. douching a vagina is bad for it.
Deary me... a dutch cap is a commonly used term for any diaphragm. Many women douche when they are having their period or just because they prefer to. I didn't say it was the best idea in the world, I said it happened.
Sorry Glowbot but you will never convince me that heterosexual intercourse is 'more convenient' than gay sex (or other types of heterosexual sex). It's a daft argument.
So have you got any other reasons why people might want to 'become straight' as 'having babies' and 'convenient sex' are not really working for you.

They work for me. The whole purpose of people is to have children naturally.
I notie you ignored all the anal stuff, don't blame you.

But as we have already discussed, gay people can have children - and the option of using embryological research means they could have their own children.
As for anal sex - how have I ignored this? You have said it is inconvenient because of the preparation - but then straight sex can be inconvenient too. And of course if men find all that preparation too much trouble they can just ignore it, or do something else (like straight people do when women have periods).
Yes there can be issues with damage to the rectum, but again with care these can be minimised. And women can also have problems following childbirth or menopause.
Sex isn't about convenience - it is about enjoying intimacy with your partner. Sometimes you have to put a little effort in... whether you are gay or straight.

the whole purpose isn't kids
many heaters don't even have kids - by choice or not being able to conceive
the homophobes always claim it's all about having kids

sex is sex
making love is making love
convenience is as variable as the couples or more that are involved
Yeah well, regardless. Some people might not want to do all that and would rather have a child naturally with someone of the opposite sex they love.
Give them therapy to persuade them that they will have to douche their bumhole (which will eventually fall out) and bribe some good-natured woman to act as a baby carrier for 9 months and risk their life in childbirth for them. Clearly that's easy.

You are just repeating yourself now, so I am off to watch TV.
After 50 years of marriage and five children I didn’t know that.....
Perhaps I also need to be educated....
Well you are not espousing straight intercourse as being more 'convenient' so I guess it doesn't matter you didn't know. However Glowbot was telling us all that straight intercourse was easy-peasy and didn't involve any preparation... which isn't always the case.

If you want to change then why not? it's your life isn't it?
I never said anyone would be forced. People have plastic surgery all the time.
LOL! no I don't, well apart from anal with a lesbian.
ok well, I did listen to what you said and I didn't mean to be mean or anything, I just disagree.
Not a problem. Thanks.
a pill that changes sexuality seems dodgy
I'm happy being gay
anal isn't unhygienic if you prepare
You have evidently never had to use a dutch cap then.
The point is that you don't have to wash out a womans vagina, then lube it to have sex.
Of course they do! lol diaphrams are still a common form of contraception.
And women often use lube - especially when older. Many also douche before sex.
Really Glowbot... educate yourself!

Oh dear!!!!
Is this the age of enlightenment....:o
Not sure what you mean?
Well....
After 50 years of marriage and five children I didn’t know that.....

I think you might be due a bit of a power wash down there... no offense

Yes it does. Thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster for America or I'd think the Anglosphere was beyond salvation.
Tough. Free speech means you can say your piece. No-one can be forced to listen.
You are correct.
