The Doctor with the Widow and the Wardrobe:D
I LOVE the title
At least it's a break from Amy and Rory anyway!
unless.they have killed Rory again
Trailer didn't greatly excite me, it seemed jumbled and busy as if the scenes were from a number of episodes, though I did squee when I saw Bill Bailey
I'm hoping the WW2 setting is used effectively, rather than just as a picturesque backdrop...it'd seem a shame to abuse the era. Seemed a bit lacking when you compare it to the trailer for last years Christmas special ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bEOrsJkijE ) but I still cannot wait for it, and it'll hopefully put me in better anticipation for the show following the disappointing Series 6 finale
I also have a feeling this will be the best one yet!
Looks excellent!
Edit: Yeh, I'm not too keen on the title either, but it is only a title. Also, I did think the trailer was a bit messy and could have been put together better, but that won't matter when a proper television trailer is released closer to the time and of course when this amazing episode airs.
As for the trailer......"it's not a phone box, it's my wardbrobe" was the stand out bit for me. Very nice. And obviously makes sense as to why the word wardrobe is used in the title for that matter.
Enough to wheat the appetite without giving too much away ,which is ideal imho.
And I'm fully prepared for the wartime setting to be nothing more than a parallel to the original book.
Two literary pastiches in consecutive years? Some might call it lazy, but I like to think it helps the story be accessible to those who wouldn't usually watch...
