I thought the same. 500 miles is almost like the Scottish National Anthem now :)

It's too nerve wracking watching Susan!

I'm quite enjoying it :D. Nobody could possibly expect it to like the London Olympics, they won't have anywhere near the budget and they shouldn't spend millions in the current climate anyway.

I'm a bit nervous for Susan Boyle though - I hope she does ok.

I was sitting in front of Susan the other week on the train, it was only me and my 2 kids and her in the carriage. She looked quite Crabit, so I never spoke to her.

As a proud Scot I am rather embarrassed by that whole thing with Barrowman and Dunbar ( the former is so hammy and the latter is so not funny) but I do like a bit of Rod Stewart and it's a great song.

I do wish folks would try not to compare with Olympic Games though...their budget must have been at least 1000 times more than what CG2014 team had to spend!!!

Makes a change for someone else to murder a McCartney song rather than himself.

I thought Rod Stewart was English

    Nonsense

    He was born in Scotland.

London is part of Scotland I think

I can't wait to see how they're going to represent the real Glasgow. Probably a few thousand Celtic supporters singing Oo Ah Up The Ra and an equal number of Rangers fans with Up To Their Knees in Fenian Blood. Or will they just ignore the ingrained sectarianism as BBC Glasgow and the other media usually does?

She started too late and stopped singing.
