  It has not been a good year for the three main soaps. Most storylines have been very poor or downright dreadful. The characters are boring and it's difficult to care about them. Also soaps schedules have been all over the place during the summer because of all the sports events.
  That said it is really a bad rating and audience share for EE,

  No Emmerdale has only been catching up on EE since their anniversary last month. Them viewers aren't going to stick around, I've already switched off.
