Square Enix to announce Project Code Z for PS4 this weekend

Square Enix launched a teaser site today for something called Project Code Z, a PlayStation 4 title it plans on revealing at Tokaigi.

The title will be introduced at Square Enix’s 16:45 stage event on January 31, which will be live streamed on Niconico.

Project Code Z also has its own Twitter account.

Tokaigi runs from January 31 to February 1.

Anyone care to hazard a guess at what this might be ?

Does anyone get excited by Square Enixs announcements anymore ?

I'm going to go crazy and assume it's that Final Fantasy VII has been remade in HD awesomeness and it is releasing this Spring and the FF7 port that was announced in December was just them trolling.

    To be honest the only SqEnix game i'm interested in is Deus Ex, and if it's that I won't be too happy.

    Does anyone even care what Square-Enix have to say after the complete joke they pulled with Final Fantasy VII on PS4 bullshit and flat out laughing at their own fanbase.

    Well it has been a while since they announced anything interesting to Playstation owners. Between the FF7 port and announcing RotTomb Raider for the rival, we're due something awesome.

    I'm expecting more PSP Games "remastered" for PS4, that need like 2 years of work before it's ready for release, but please be excited! :)

    I'm with you Yuffie, it is a full on remake of FFVII but you also get Crisis Core and dirge of Cerberus on disk all remade for PS4 with Advent Children also built in too. :D

    I think it was partly that I didn't really like the psp. It wasn't awful but I fell out of love with ff when xii came out.

    SEVEN! The backdrop reminds me of vii somehow. A tarted upVII would be brilliant but a tarted up VIII would be my preference!

    Oh ok. I haven't been able to get onto the site as I'm on my iPad and that site needs Adobe flash and it's not supported.
