  All proceedings will go towards keeping nonce priests protected whilst in hiding, or a monthly subscription to a kiddie porn website.

  From the article, I understood that the tax is aimed at lapsed or part lapsed Catholics who want Church burials etc. Practising Catholics are already paying it.
  Professor Leipzig is partly lapsed.

  Its nothing new .It was in place in the 70;s .If you want the benefits of a Church you have to pay for it and the money is take on a percentage basis from your wages .Why not .? You want a service you pay .
