  I'm not sure about me but my sister was to be called Lorenzo (FGS) - thankfully she was born a girl and called Lorraine.

  My family were traditionalists, so I would have been named after my maternal grandmother instead of my paternal grandfather.

  Emma - after Emma Peel from The Avengers. In fact, the doctors told my family I would be female, so they bought loads of pink stuff xD! They hadn't planned any male names because of that, so I ended up being named the same as my dad - Anthony.
  
  I guess it could be worse... they could of given me a male name from The Avengers... Don't think I'd suit 'Steed', 'Gambit' or a 'Mother' :D

  Toby, so thank god a girl arrived. Think my parents stuck a pin in a baby name book. My brother has an Irish name, mine is Scandinavian and my younger brother's name is Scottish - sort of. Must remember to ask.

  The name I have now wasn't my mum's first choice for a girl, I was going to be called Jessica right up until I was born and then my parents decided it didn't suit me so I ended up being called something completely different.

  Not sure on mine, but if my daughter had been a boy, it could have been Everton, if they mother had approved, but as we knew it was a girl before we decided on names it didn't come up.
  
  Though I did try with Evertonia for a girl, no was the answer...though I did tell my daughter when she was 12 and she actually quite liked it.
