"HDMI not available" happening more often
Starting to get annoyed!!! Getting the above message more and more - menus are fine, sound is fine but the picture is black with the message. Had the box since day one - is it on the way out? I will be well annoyed if I lose all the box has "learned" as the suggestions are spot on these days!

It happens to me about once a week or so. I wonder if it is not the TV set? I have Sharp LED set.
I got this with my first box. I rang virgin and they replaced box and it has been fine since. Engineer who changed my box did say to me, that certain tvs don't play nice with tivo.
The only time I used to see this message was on a second TV connected via SCART when the main tv was off.
Never seen it on the HDMI tv.
It could be something that fouls after alot of use.
There are two TiVo's in circulation (I think, may be wrong).
one is made by Cisco (1st version) and the second is made by samsung (2nd version)
Cisco ones have Cisco written on the top of the box itself.
samsung's have round LED's not segmented ones. (from what i have learn't again may be wrong)
can people mention what TiVo box they got?
You may find playing with the TV or changing your HDMI lead or choosing a different port on the TV gets rid of this.
Pressing Clear button on the remote also gets rid of it of course.
It's the Cisco box.
