I see the Pope has stepped down.

How long before Lys Assia starts Tweeting hints that she might be in the running to become the next papal father?

I played it to to my 2 female colleagues this morning and they loved it. Euroviison needs some humour in it otherwise it gets too professional and boring. Laka "Pokušaj" and Pirates of the Sea "Wolves of the Sea" were greta fun entries
Yeah, fun is definitely needed too, but it doesn't have to be tacky (like in our case)... :o

Though should ours be the only "fun" entry this year, at least we stand some chance of doing relatively well... (I need all the consolation I can get now! ;))

As Mikael would say "I am no clown"...;) My favourite NF has been Finland so far -- I love that they make the effort but don't overblow it -- it would have been interesting to see what they would have done on the eurovision stage for most of the songs in the Finnish NF...sadly it has to be only one...:(
    Thanks for the compliments ;)

Krista has also got a good voice, so that ticks another box!

Normally, British newspapers publish a selection of the most memorable/ outrageous acts each year (last year it was Jedward, the Grannies, Loreen, the Hump), and I see Krista and her Bridezilla angle being very media friendly!

The video for Marry Me is great: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=oXb9sLB8sYM

Proof that it's meant to be her being a crazy obsessive bride I'd say :p

I just can't see it being Diana (although I would love it to be as I am a massive fan of hers), her album is out this year, so surely she would be concentrating on promoting that?

I'm thinking that she's wanting to use the Contest as a means of promoting the album all over Europe. Diana previewed her new album at some warm up gigs last February and said her album was going to be out in the Spring (probably assuming she'd be announced for Eurovision in March).

As she was deselected, her album campaign has stalled and everything went quiet therefore I'm guessing she's waiting on being asked again?

I doubt they could possibly top Dame Zilli and all her fabulousness this year:D
Hope she'll represent Italy again at some stage.

I sent a message to the powers that be last night, but nothing yet (you watch, they'll do it right now, so my "powers that be" comment will be at the top of Part 46 )

There isn't .... stuff has been cobbled together from all over the place, so if you really need something, feel free to comment and you never know... ;)

More like something you would get if you slept with one of the cast of Geordie Shore

I assume you're only talking about the title and not the song itself?
