Here are the provisional listings for Saturday-Tuesday:
Saturday 18th April
06.00 Teleshopping
09.00 Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
10.00 Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
11.00 Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Rated 15 on DVD, therefore these will be cut to shreds and pointless. Why show these programmes at 9 in the morning?
Season 5 of The Walking Dead is starting sooner than we thought. It's in the press pack for w/c 25th April, and they are showing them in doubles as well.
Not a bad turnaround that because it's only just recently finished up on Fox.
Still no availability on Virgin Media agreed, oh dear. However, as the channel is all setup on the Channel 5 website like 5* and 5USA that could mean the programmes will be on Demand 5 too so maybe Virgin Media customers will be able to watch shows that way!
Any definite answer on its availability in Ireland? .. I know it will be available via other channels but not being able to record and series link would be very annoying.

Sky Ireland won't have it as Channel 5 are not interested in being on the platform due to extra rights costs apparently, if that is the case then UPC will be no different -
FTA/Freesat and Freeview overspill then.

But have Sky/Spike TV confirmed this or are we just going on the past?
The only thing I may tune into on this channel is "lip sync battle" but give it time I can see that programme appearing on MTV thats for sure (surprised its not on there before this channel launches)

Yes, it'll definitely be unencrypted because that channel's coming to Freesat so it should by receivable in ROI given the Astra British Isles spotbeam footprint.
Re the launch of Spike on Wednesday. TV & Satellite Week, arguably the best listings mag for satellite/cable tv, are not listing Spike TV. Space is obviously a problem for them, but if they do not want to expand the number of pages, surely they should replace some of the minor channels they currently list?

With the amount of celeb/reality crap on ITV some may see Spike as the better channel..

I noticed an ad on my Roku box earlier for Breaking Bad on Demand 5.
Demand 5 on Sky offers a lot of shows in HD so perhaps Breaking Bad will be one of them, for those who won't watch SD.
I agree. Lots of channels, but they show the same or similar content!
Here's hoping.
Actually would be better to have a HD channel.
usually not until the day of launch.
Ahh that is a bit annoying!
Thanks anyway.
It'll be on 160
