It would be nice if they had an hour long Friday show that could give more indepth coverage of the cooking, food and judging whilst leaving out the faux tension and charity segments.
Obviously that's from a personal selfish viewpoint.
They show the week's episodes early Saturday morning, they could change that to an 'omnibus' edition re-editing all of them together.
Why doesn't anyone do a posh scampi, chips and bread rolls and call it "Going for an English"?

They could include a little pot of butter with "Some of that fancy stuff" written on the side.
This has been a constant problem hasn't it? The same way we lost the cowboy pie. Maybe they should consider restructuring GBM so that it is dish orientated rather than menu.
