I can't help but notice in some of the shots, the car is travelling on the road the wrong way <i.e it looks as though the ladies are reversing in a straight line at 70 mph>

    Still women drivers hey ;)

Why do they waste money advertising for people to be in an advert. The new one hardly talks about Sheila's wheels in terms of car insurance.

    It's a really catchy song.

For ladies who insure their cars...

Is the blonde in the middle Radio 1 DJ/TV presenter Sara Cox? She rolls her eyes in a manner that you know Coxy would do.

Sexist tripe. If it was the other way round "for guys who insure their cars" the feminists would be complaining.

I didn't find it too annoying until they brought out the one with talking in it.. "you and your friends and rellies can end up on tv!!!" or something along those lines. Do Ausies really actually say things like rellies?!

I noticed that the lyrics have been changed.

I always have to mute the sound down for this awful advert. What make sit even worse was when it was shown during GReys Anatomy, you get a really sad storyline, then suddenly the Sheila's Wheels come on and ruin the moment:mad:

They've got the woman who won the competition to be on the car on the advert now. Lots of superimposing, not even sure if the people who won it even knew they were on the car or if they we 'put on' afterwards.

the advert drives me mad!!! but whats even worse is my daughter keeps singing the song!!! arghhhhhhhh!!!!

on a slightly different note...... perhaps if they spent less on their adverts they could offer better quotes:confused:

Not sure if your picking at his name or his point. His point is valid though as I'm sure you know deep down. If there was an ad on tv advertising male only insurance it wouldn't be allowed.

    Sheila's wheels are superstars! Lol

I actually prefered this as the sponsor for Greys Anatomy, I don't like the new one.

Yeah, bring back "Butch" McGuire, I say.
For there was that one immortal rhyme:
"If you had a name like Florence
And you needed car insurance..." :p
