Hollyoaks birth, marriage and death count
There's been just 16 births in Hollyoaks 19 year history (the first and last being from Cindy Cunningham). This seems so strange I remember there was a period sort of 2007-2010 where everyone seemed to be pregnant.
24 marriages have occured on the show (I am pretty sure of all of these marriages Frankie and Jack are the only one that didn't end in death or divorce)
21 deaths in the first 10 years
60 in the last 8 years (inc HO:ITC)
Producer death counts
Phil Redmond 10
Jo Hallows 9
David Hanson 5
Bryan Kirkwood 42 (24 during current run)
Lucy Allan 2
Paul Marquess 6
Gareth Phillips 3
Emma Smithwick 1 (though I think BK implemented Lindseys death)
Of these 37 were murder or suicide, 8 were of natural causes/illness and 28 were by an accident involving
either a car or an explosion or both.
I personally don't want to see anymore death but if there is any I would really prefer to see someone die
of natural causes like have a long running illness. I'd even rather have someone suffer a disability from
one of the many explosions. We seem to have everyone come out unharmed or dead.

Bryan Kirkwood killing off 40 plus characters is actually quiet shocking.
I thought Mercedes McQueen had Bobby Costello is the cellar where Silas Blissett put her? Plus Cindy Cunningham had Hilton Cunningham?

I think your marriage stats are a bit low - 34 according to Wikipedia (having looked, they all seem right)
And yes, Jack and Frankie seem to be the only couple to have survived their marriage...
As for deaths - quite surprised that there were no deaths between Dawn in 1997 and Kurt in 1999 (although his was off-screen)
There have been 12 marriages since 2010, of which 9 have ended in death and 3 in divorce/separation; none has survived.

I love Hollyoaks but is it any wonder it isn't taken more seriously with stats like that?
