I had for many years wanted to become a vegetarian, since perhaps the age of 7 or 8 years old. My parents said I could give up eating meat when I turned 16 providing that I still ate fish at home. I left home initially about 3 years ago so became a full vegetarian. I've since had to return home but have not returned to eating meat.
I don't give a lot of thought to anyone else's dietary choices. Although my mother had a friend who was a long time vegetarian who used to chastise me for still eating fish.
