Checked the 92 championships to see how many others are still playing from that era, Taylor obviously and Martin Phillips who lost to Taylor in the quarters that year. The only other one who played in 92 and in a world championship this year the Adonis Steve Beaton :cool:
Think the occasion got to Craig a bit. He's clearly a good player and was scoring really highly but he was struggling on check outs and seemed to wobble whenever the 9 darter was in sight too.
Not sure why he was touching hands with Scotty just prior to Scott's possible check out. Leave that for the end of the match.
Justice for Dennis there after Marco's earlier error. He definitely said "Dennis you need 86" when he needed 76.

Just to clarify this one, it was the fault of the marker. Earlier in the leg Dennis had hit 20, 5, treble 5. Marco correctly called this as 40 but it was marked as 30. This then led to Dennis needing 86 rather than 76 at the end of the leg.
It would be good publicity for the BDO if they gave the defending womens champion a prelim spot in the mens draw the following year, Ashton would have won 2 or 3 of the mens games I've seen so far!
