  cannot think why, they play a relatively narrow playlist compared to internet stations, solidgoldgem.am have 8,000+ songs in their library.

  How many of those 8000 songs are any good? Or songs that would be instantly recongisable by a large proportion of the audience?

  5 live Breakfast - BBC R5L

  I used to listen to Grimshaw in the mornings, but 3 months after his show started I gave up. Then I moved to Radio 2, with Chris Evans. However, his annoyingly upbeat demeanour and general presenting style were too much for the early morning, so I now listen to 5Live breakfast.

  I generally listen to Cat and Nelly (Cat James and Ed Nell) on Free Radio in Wolverhampton, Shropshire and the Black Country. Although I do like to switch between different stuff, mostly Orion including Phil Ray on Free Radio 80s and Alex Duffy on Viking. I like to listen to cover shows a lot; they can be interesting including Ben Burrell on Free Radio Birmingham (BRMB) and James Hall somewhere in Bauerland. I've also gone to UCB sometimes but I don't think much of the breakfast show. I've listened to the Breeze recently and I like to go to Gem 106 at 09:00 for Guess the Year which ceased on the Orion WM stations.
