I'd like to see Sinead ( Stephanie Davis ) from Hollyoaks and also from Over The Rainbow. She's got a great personality and is only 18! She's really funny and beautiful.

ETA Professor Brian Cox (even more wishful thinking :D )

I like the cut of your jib:D:D:D

*swoon* Richard Armitage has said he wouldnt do Strictly, but he does dance a reasonably good Argentine Tango...*just thinking about this makes me self combust*:D

The Prof.......have you seen the way he moves:D he'd be brilliant, plus he'd get all my votes as well

Looks like EE's Charlie Brooks is a cert (it is Strictly law that someone from the show, past or present, must take part in each series)

Oh my lord, the thought of an Argentine Tango with Richard Armitage.........*cold shower needed* :D:D

I am living in hope that one day The Prof will be persuaded to take part!

    They will be wanting to stick it to Simon Cowell;

    Danni Minogue
    Sharon Osbourne
    (+ Ozzy for a comedy act ?)
    Kate Thornton
    Nicole Scherzinger
    Steve Jones
    Will Young
    Michael McIntyre
Peter Kay (unlikely but it was reported that Cowell hated his C4 parody)

I know most people loathe her, but I'd love to see Sharon Osbourne take part.
She signed up for Dancing With The Stars Season 4 but pulled out when she had some surgery rearranged so she's not against the idea of dancing.

Angus and Erin would be funny - Erin would relish teaching him:D

I reckon it will be the usual suspects, three sportspeople, newsreader, soapies and a singer plus a WAG

    I reckon

    Rebecca Adlington (swimmer) - 5ft 10 - Brendan
    Charlie Brookes (EE) - 5ft 5 - Pasha
    Sian Williams (ex Breakfast) - 5ft 3 - Vincent
    Jonny Wilkinson(retired rugby star) -5ft 10 - Kristina

Jonny isn't retired from Rugby just England - he's still playing for Toulon in the South of France. Even so, I would be extremely surprised to see him do a reality show as he doesn't really like the limelight.

I think they would struggle to get Usain Bolt, but I do like the ideas of Suzi Quatro and Moira Stuart. I would think Jess Ennis would be unlikely as she would be training for the following years championships. Mike Tindall could be a possible though.
Also I would bet there will be Sian Williams and Charlie Brookes

After her excellent performance in Dancing On Ice, I think Jennifer Ellison would be an obvious choice, if she is allowed to be in both series.

As the "token oldie" - Christine Hamilton. She's spunky; can be irritating but can also be very amusing.

No way - she is a trained dancer - that would be an unfair advantage

What about Joan Collins? Still dream of a comedienne like Dawn French, Miranda Hart or Jennifer Saunders...though all are busy with new ventures

A possible shoe-in (or in this case, shoes-off) in the "BBC reporter" category ?

As to who I'd like to see give it a shot - gotta be Eddie the Eagle. :)

Now that Wild At Heart has been axed that frees up Stephen Thomkinson's schedule (he's a HUGE Strictly fan and has been in the audience many, many times)

Dawn Steele has also said she's take part if she had more time, so I wouldn't be surprised to see one of them dancing later in the year!

As she is now out of a job, the Beeb should definitley try their hardest to get Kelly Rowland.

I know we've already had Michelle Williams, but I think Kelly may just be a better dancer than her (and would be amazing if paired with Ian)

It would be sure to get people watching, and would also allow the lovely Kelly Rowland to be on British screens this Autumn!

I wonder what the chances of her signing up are?

Now she's left X Factor I'd like to see Kelly Rowland.

Her bandmate Michelle did it, she came and wished her good luck, and a couple years before she was heavily rumored to do the show.
