Is it the norm to shave your pubes?

I always thought shaving under arm hair and pubic area was a European thing as in France or Germany. From speaking to friends i guess not.:confused:

Sounds like its the norm now. Oh and i don't shave or even trim. I just don't see the point!;-)

    There's nothing wrong with a trim down below, but shaving is not for me. Some info made the rounds on facebook not too long ago about how shaving pubic hair promoted infections and the like.

    It's certainly true to say that if some of today's teenagers saw the unkempt muffs in 1970s jazz mags they'd be put off sex for life :D

    I've never shaved my pubes, mostly because I'd have to shave all of my body hair as well else it would look ludicrous.

    It's not the norm to shave them all off, but not unusual, especially in the younger age group. It is the norm to keep them trimmed and tidy.

    That made me laugh.
    It is 'fresher' down there IMO if shaved or trimmed.
    I use my topiary sheers on mine.

    It is not unusual I do my pubic area and underarms. The Mrs gives the area more attention when shaven ;-)

    I don't like hairy genitals on men or women. Not because I've been "brain washed by the porn industry" or because I like "sissy" men, but because hair down there just isn't practical!! Who wants a face fully of wirey fluff when they're sharing an intimate moment with their partner?? Not me.

    I do like a hairy chest though, they're nice to snuggle up to. :kitty:

    I prefer no hair down there on myself and on men... just makes sexual activities much more enjoyable. I would not go down on a guy if I was going to get a mouthful of hair, and if I was a guy I'd think the same in regards to oral sex and females' private parts.
    And it just feels much cleaner down there!!!
    I do prefer waxing to shaving though.

    It's the norm if it's normal for you. It's your body, do what you want with it. Shave it, plait it, bejazzle it. It's all good if that's the way you like it . :D
