With GMB's ratings sadly sinking faster than the Titanic. Has anyone got any ideas for a new Breakfast TV show that could air on any channel be it BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 or SKY.
You can pick any name and the show could be on any channel.
You can choose any presenters and studio reporters e.g Sport, Weather, Entertainment, Business ETC

For BBC News Channel, How about a simulcast of the BBC Radio 4 Today studios between 06:00 to 08:30?

Not unheard of- Sky One simulcast Chis Evans' breakfast show for a while. There are also no shortage of successful online TV shows which are basically radio shows in radio studios which happen to be being filmed.
When breakfast tv was first discussed there was a theory that Terry Wogan and Jimmy Young would just have a camera put in their studios!
As for simulcasting...why would anyone actually want that? The only people who advocate that is lazy or penny-pinching TV execs.
GMB would be a decent programme if they dumped Andi Peters and all his crap, had consistency in their presenting line up, dropped the number of ad breaks and focused a bit more on interesting news stuff rather than celebrity gossip fluff. Basically, a more lively version of BBC Breakfast. They could do a weekend version that goes well in to mid morning and is less news-focussed and leans towards cultural content and weekend sport previews etc.
I'm sure in this day & age live streaming wouldn't be much extra cost or effort.
There's a BBC News business show that is in a radio studio. I always assumed it was for both radio and tv broadcasts.
Bring back Johnny Vaughan and Liza Tarbuck aka Jason and Auntie Tina! Smutty innuendo at 8.45am is what we need.

You may be thinking of the Bottom Line which is chaired by Evan Davis and broadcast on Radio 4, BBC World Service radio, the BBC News channel and BBC WSTV. I suspect this sort of programme is going to be the way ahead for the BBC news channels.
