It's not my favourite series ever, but it's certainly been the best series since series 5. 6 & 7 really dragged it down. This series really pulled it back, IMO.
Agreed! It all went downhill after series 5, until now. This series itself would have been better if it had remained with the Strictly format that started the franchise, instead of trying to be DWTS, which after all is Strictly's spawn rather than the other way around....

Some (admittedly not all) of the changes were improvements though ... and helped cement SCD as an amazing entertainment show ... and avoided it becoming stale and boring which it risked after its demise in the past couple of seasons

Im pleased that the contestants have been supportive and generous towards each other even in defeat

She lives with her sister in their own flat, but it's being redecorated I think, so she moved back in with her parents while the work was being done.
They showed her flat on the programme she did about her dyslexia.
