How much do you pay for your phone contact a month?

I have Sony Xperia SP phone that I desperately want rid of, I'm considering buying out my contract 10 months early, I know it will be a lot, but I really hate this phone now.

I currently pay about £28 a month for 1000 minutes, unlimited text, 500MB web.

I'm torn between Samsung Galaxy S5 OR 6 when its released, and Iphone 6.

I want a bigger screen so I can browse the Google web properly.

What phone do you have?

    £10/month paygo, no contract, not a 'deal', 100 minutes, 1000 texts, 500MB data.

    More than I am ever likely to need. Basic tiny Sammy hand-me-down from the kids, does me fine.

    I keep it old school on pay as you go. I top up £15 a month - that gets me 200 minutes, 2000 texts (which I never use because who even texts nowadays when you have WhatsApp/BBM?) and 1GB of data.

    I'd be interested to see an official definition to back that assertion that there is a difference up. I think I'll be in for a long wait.

    Why do you need an official definition? A good knowledge of English should suffice.

    Because it's made up nonsense and not correct English. You can't have unlimited text. Unlimited texts is correct.

    I just threatened to leave Virgin for another and they reduced it from a tenner to that amount.

    You can, it just goes on forever - you could split it into as many individual texts as you want though.

    No, text refers to one. Texts refer to more than one. If you ate three apples would you say you ate three apple?

    That's what I said. IF poster meant unlimited text messages.

    But a quick google confirms what I've seen many times e.g.

    Apologies. You're right. I misunderstood your post. Although I still contend the original poster is wrong when he says he gets "unlimited text." He gets unlimited text messaging or unlimited texts.
