It would suggest that David Cameron is a Freemason but Conservative HQ refuse to comment.
Does anybody have any proof that he is a member of this secret society? It would be totally ironic if he was after his wrants about how honest we should all be......

If it's a 'secret society' how do you know about it?
And, what does it matter if he is?
It's not a 'secret society', it's a 'society with secrets'
That's better......:D:D
The link leads to a totally dubious source.
And if Cameron is a Freemason then so what?
I didn't say it was from a relaible source, I just asked the question if people had any evidence that he was one....
No one will ever know will they? That's the whole point of being a Freemason. Only fellow Freemasons will know and they wont tell.
Not really, my grandfather is a mason, it's just a social club and place to network for older men. They're all perfectly open about it if you ask them.
The secret is....
There is no secret
Its probablly just a bunch of toffs playing testicular ping pong with each others wifes.
Not really, the point about Freemasonry is that it's not intended that members should be required to keep their affiliation with the society secret - but rather that internal rules and rituals are kept secret and protected by varying ranks and degrees of membership.
That's why we are fully aware of the identities of a lot of famous Freemasons, throughout history and today - the public may not know about the private ceremonies and practices which govern the society within, but it's a misconception that membership in the guild is strictly secret.

It is (or was) the biggest donater to charity after the National Lottery.
Yep, it is predominantly a charitable organisation.
Not quite. You asked the question and independent of any answer, decided to give us your opinion anyway.
Not true at all. I'm a Freemason and neither I, nor any other Freemasons that I know keep it a secret.
I'm a Freemason too.
Yup, me to....
The things we are required to keep secret are actually very minimal. Not so much the rituals themselves, per se, but certain things in them. I could hand you my ritual book to look through without breaking any obligation.
*Under human rights and anti-discrimination legislation, you have the right to hold your
own religious beliefs or other philosophical
beliefs similar to a religion. You also have the
right to have no religion or belief. Under the Equality Act 2006, it is unlawful
for someone to discriminate against you
because of your religion or belief (or because
you have no religion or belief):
The freemasons require all members to beleive in god.
So does the Church.
No they don't, they have to have a belief in a Supreme Being, whoever you perceive him to be, your God may not be my God, we are equally forbidden to discuss religion.
To believe in A God or moral guide
^ This. It's a bit like the concept of 'surrendering' oneself to a higher power in a 12-step program. It's what you perceive it to be.
That's not absolutely correct, I only found out recently that my grandfather who died in the 1960's was a Freemason however I did know that one of his sons (my uncle) was a Freemason, although at the time I had no idea what a Freemason was, I'm still not sure but I don't think they are anything special.
