Pretty similar thinking back, I think United were 8 points ahead of City with 5 games left. Then there was that that 4-4 against Everton at Old Trafford after Man U were 3-1 and 4-2 up, City won their corresponding fixture to narrow the gap and the rest is history.
Yeah were 8 points up but with 6 to play I think?? then lost to Wigan so was cut to 5 and it remained like this with 4 to play. Drew with Everton and then lost to city

Arsenal get fourth on goal difference also, but not to United, to Liverpool.
Even though I think Spurs might win on goal difference I would prefer Leicester to win. Also being a Liverpool fan would prefer to get fourth too
