No sneering intentions. It was a genuine question as the Mail is not known for balance, objectivity or quality.
I've been particularly impressed by the Telegraph's coverage to date.
OK - to be honest I do not read newspapers, so anything I have read has been through links on here. But I am aware of the Mails's reputation! For my sins most of the news I get is through listening to 5Live all day. Do I need to take cover?
Questions I raise on here are sometimes me playing devil's advocate. But I have a genuine interest in how people come to the conclusions they do.
That's one of the things that has genuinely interested me about this thread. Facts are facts, but we each interpret them quite differently.
Yes, but some things are presented as facts when they are clearly not...just this morning for example the debate about an injunction.
The internet confirms that old saying, if something is said often enough people will believe it.
Countless times certain things have been shown not to be facts or untrue and 2-3 days later the people making the false claims repeat their false assertions again as if they have been shown to be nonsense.
