They were round hard sweets, one side was brightly coloured and fruity, the reverse side was white and a creamy flavour. I remember them coming in a big bag which was mixed flavours but i think there were only around 4 flavours.
I used to love them and i dont know why they stopped making them.

Ok , I know you'll all say "what ?! never heard of it " but when I was little Jersey Bars were around .They were made by the toffee maker McCowan . Then , one day to my utter dismay - I ran to the sweet shop clutching my pocket money and horror of horrors - they had stopped making it it was a small yellow flat bar a bit like fudge.I was heart broken I had to move on to Ripple bars , but I will never forget you Jersey bars and underneath I will always be a Jersey girl

I recall that, on the way home from Junior School (as it was then), a number of us would call at the sweet shop to buy what was supposed to be chewing tobacco. Obviously it was a toffee of some description but I can't remember what it was called. I remember it being bloody good though.
I can't remember any of the sweets on the list, but the sweets I used to get off the Ice Cream Van are not as nice as they used to be.
I remember we used to get a 10p mix and I used to love it if you'd get a jelly toothbrush/set of teeth. But then they became more like the whites of a haribo egg and tasted rank.

Does anyone remember Cadburys Cabanas? Like bountys but with cherries and a bit of caramel. Very sweet but very nice.
Cadburys also used to do Milk Tray chocs in a bar and one of them was a lime barrel, my fave.
Just checked wikipedia, it seems they were introduced in the UK - anybody had them? Do they still sell them here, I've never seen them.

Yes, the packet came in two segments/sections with a lollypop to dunk into them - I definitely remember that
Did not do me any harm stuck with chocolate pipe and 50 plus years on still going strong
I tried lighting one once and it bubbled up
But all of those are still available.
So did I.
If you gently heated them with a lighter they tasted nicer, sort of lightly toasted.
