I've struggling with choices what to buy on day 1 with my PS4. I've got the cash to buy three games, though I don't have to buy three.
I see a lot of hype over Watch Dogs, but to be honest I'm still annoyed with ubisoft over the first Assassins Creed game that promised much and delivered little.
I think Killzone is a must, I loved the last two and the MP was always fun for a few months.
Knack, not sure about but I'm sure my little boy would be happy.
BF4 looks good but they always play better on PC
MW:Ghosts.. meh getting bored of that.
What's everyone else getting?

Seriously though... I'm probably only going to get Watch Dogs to start with. My PSN+ account will get me a couple of freebies and I still have 600gb of PSN+ games on my PS3 to get through so just the one purchase should do me for a while. At a push I might get Knack too but that will probably be an impulse buy when I'm out shopping.
Really looking forward to The Order and Second Son next year.
He's going to be 7 the day after launch.. he may end up getting it for his birthday.. or skylanders swap force.
I'm a big fan of open world co-op games and really looking forward to Destiny and The Division looks impressive if they pull that off.
Watch Dogs will have plenty of reviews out before, so I'll keep that on my short list.
Yes Destiny looks amazing by all accounts you can play it solo, team up with friends for co-op and then drop in to open events with other players to take down certain Mobs. The Division also looks good, there's some great games coming to the next generation.
Elder Scrolls plays very similar to Destiny, in that you can solo, then can do 2, 4 and 6 man dungeons, and 12 - 24 player open world events, plus the mass PVP once you hit 50, apparently the PvP area is the size of Oblivion!!
Enjoy

I'm having an R-Type flashback.:)
Never too old. I'm late {cough} 40's and intend to continue playing these types of games until either my heart or my brain goes
Amen to that.

I'm getting it for Killzone, COD and BF4 and Watchdogs.
Although I have got a backlog on both the Vita and PC to get through!
Totally different to the Wii-U launch I have stuff to play this time:p
Even 2D would've been slightly impressed by that.
I know the first rule of banned members is never to talk about banned members.... but I expected him to only have a short holiday. Discussing the relative merits of both systems just isn't the same without him
In addition to this I am looking forward to some of the F2P games coming especially Planetside 2 and DCUO. There are a couple of indie gems that I will pick up too - although these will be mainly to play on the Vita being honest.
I may do this £10 upgrade for COD, if Ghosts is decent. It makes more sense to get that on PS3 initially, there are no gameplay difference and the PS3 will have a much larger community.
Yeah looks awesome doesn't it. Housemarque are an awesome studio. Can't wait for Dead Nation on the vita either.
