Apart from heating... If you can afford it:rolleyes:
I bought an extra 13.5 tog duvet, now I can snuggle in bed with 2 duvets = 27 tog on top of me
I am drinking a lot of hot soup & coffee & warming my hands on the mugs

I drink more tea.
I wear more clothes.
I warm my bottom on the radiator. I've always done that.
I go out most for a long walk wearing walking trousers with thermal long johns underneath. A thermal cami, long sleeved jumper and a windproof jacket.
I wear handknitted socks which you cannot beat and walking boots. I also wear a handknitted cowl which is made from Icelandic Wool and is the warmest thing ever.
My heat goes off at 9.30 am and comes on again at 4 pm and even yesterday I didn't need to switch the heating on in between. I was lovely and warm.
Our house is double-glazed with cavity wall insulation and gets plenty of light and sun.
I think the trick is to keep active if you can and wear natural fibres rather than acrylics etc.
With that you only need worry about heatstroke.
So do I. Just off to buy some parsnips as I fancy Curried Parsnip soup today. Ever tried that?
Yesterday I did Minestrone and it was delish! I had a workman here and I offered him a bowl & he absolutely devoured it. He reckons he's only ever had tinned soup before.
Soups are so easy to make, nutritious and satisfying that I don't know why more people don't make them.
Careful, that's how my scout leader ended up in prison.
oh and one of those big babygrow things from primark - looks stupid but it keeps me really warm
