More than 70% of fresh chickens being sold in the UK are contaminated with the Campylobacter bug, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) has revealed.
The figure is higher than in previous tests, which suggested a 59% contamination rate.
The highest rate was found in chickens being sold by Asda. Tesco was found to have relatively low rates of contamination.

PC keyboards are said to have more bacteria than a toilet seat; I do hope you use hand gel before and after playing on the old joanna.
I assume that would be the case if you didn't wash your hands after using the toilet or weren't the only one to use that keyboard.
I is a ooman being and as such is omnivorous - as nature intended!!
That'll put the cat amongst the pigeons!!
Not that I eat either!!
In offices, the habit of eating at your desk is a culprit, as are the dirty habits of other people who share your kettle or vending machine, open the same doors ...
Not mine:D
As long as you cook a chicken correctly, you're going to be fine.
Just having a laugh about bacteria, I'm sure your ivories are squeaky clean ... and not ivory and not squeaky ....
Germs, even really bad ones, are most likely on:
bus seat handles
doors to shops
coins that people have given to cashiers, bus drivers etc
items on shelves in shops
trolleys
any handrails outside or in a shopping centre that you might use
etc
Yep, there's loads of ways that you can get a transfer of germs.
Some people underestimate how well/strong their immune system is. Of course, not everyone's immune system will be strong, but it'll still be pretty good though.
Luckily I don't touch any of those things
That must be a typo that let to another.....then another.....then another etc.
You must have OCD then.
