Switched to Virgin today but didn't realise that sky sports news hd is not available on virgin media

    They've signed a deal to broadcast it along with Sky News HD we don't have an official launch date yet but its rumored to be early 2015

    I don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but if you have the sports channels in HD on Virgin then you can watch Sky Sports News in HD on Sky Sports 5 HD on Channel 516 from 6am - 9am daily. But today it's on until midnight!

    So at least you can get a taster of what Sky Sports News HD will look like when it's finally launched. :D

    He's only got a few months to wait and he will be able to see the channel in glorious HD again!

    ........and at the moment Jeff's Soccer Saturday is on Sports5HD from 1200-1730!
