Remember this time last year when we said no more queueing for hours and no more outdoor gigs in the winter :rolleyes: (though to be fair it was nearly as cold at BA Proms in July as it was at the Christmas Lights gigs in November!!) :eek: Ah well, anything for a Joe fix and it's always lovely and warm in the Joe Glow

Funny how you don't notice the cold once Joe starts singing though isn't it!
Joe was stunning as Tommy - I knew his singing would be brilliant (as always) but his acting was fantastic too (but then he did graduate with a triple distinction in performing arts - whilst making his first album - so I guess I should have known) :cool:
It was a very talented cast and as well as the performance we were treated to regular tweets and photos from rehearsals which seemed like hard work but lots of fun too And what an honour to know that Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend were there supporting everyone and endorsing Joe as Tommy

What a week - it was such a privilege to see Joe in two West End shows within a few days of each other. 'She's Out of My Life' was so beautiful it made me cry

Forgot you didn't go to the Sheffield one.
Another cold one, but it didn't rain. There was already a crowd when we got there. The stage looked like it was miles away and even Joe commented on how far away the crowd looked.
Loved how Dixie and Gayle introduced him

I don't think I was ever so cold as I was at the Prom thingy in July - I had an outer body experience:D but just as you say as soon as Joe bounced on stage I forgot the cold and it was great to see everyone else up out of their seats to bop around:) and then, when it was over and as I was queuing for a loo I heard screaming and turned to see a posse of teenage girls and boys chasing his car:D
I was a tad nervous about Tommy as I have to confess to worrying about his acting ability but there was no need he had the entire theatre in the palm of his hand - quite a feat considering the audience contained all sorts of worthies including Pete Townsend:eek:

Hiya Adayseye! We nearly got mown down by that huge posse chasing Joe as we went to get the car.:D There were tons of them! Never did get that pic of you standing under the 'Tommy the Musical' sign though.
