From the Soaps (and I think 'Odd' as well) sections:
The cremated remains of Frisky the cat sold for more than £700 at an auction today.

The cat appeared in Coronation Street's title sequence for more than ten years before his death in 2000.

The 14-year-old cat's ashes, which were sealed in a wooden casket with a brass plaque, had been expected to fetch up to £150.

A spokesman for Dominic Winter Auctioneers in Gloucestershite confirmed that the remains had been sold to a private bidder for £700. With the buyer's premium added, the final price paid was £844.

At the height of his fame, Frisky had a fanclub with more than 1,500 members.

John Rimington, who put the ashes up for auction, plans to give the money to the Cat Protection League.

Oops! :o

Wasn't there one here before that said Shost instead of Ghost? :p

Think that might have actually been a thread rather than an article.

Word to the wise. If you are applying for (or advertising) a job that involves working with every Tom. Dick and Harry- make double sure your L key isn't stuck!

Gloucester is a shite hole anyway, so in that respect I don't think it is a typo. Incidentally, the correct spelling of the county is Cheltenhamshire!!!

Has anyone PMd clarribo for the answer?
    This is annoying! :D

(do you think the 'L' key getting stuck means a rogue L will be added to a word or missed out of a word to make what is supposedly an amusing typo? gah... i'm not going to be able to concentrate on anything else for the rest of the day!!!)
