"Impossible" down just two places (#11) in the UK and four places (#8) in Ireland. Sales posted when available.

No exact sales available, but #10 sold 21,764 and #14 sold 17,192, so let's say 20K. It must very close to Shayne Ward.

James was bookies favourite to win but has been overtaken by Adele once it was announced she'd perform at the Oscars. I still Olly will win that one, though.

Only the younger demographic of mainly teens will be bothered to register & vote..

Do the best artist and singles take into account global sales? Because if that's the case then I think yeah Adele's definitely going to win. I still want Olly or James to win because it would mean SO MUCH more than Adele adding another troph to her collection (she's already rocking the Golden Globes and Oscars so let Olly/James get it, please understand Adele!).

I still love Adele but enough's enough really, give others a punt at it.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I so agree. James is a great artist and probably one of my favorite ever acts BUT I would NEVER do that. Some people....

Except if it was Olly Murs or Matt Cardle I may consider it...<3 their lovely faces. :o

#2 on the ARIA chart this week :)

And the British Single is voted for by the Brits panel this year, instead of the public so no chance of James winning....he might have had a chance otherwise.

I really love tats in general, although I'd have gone for something more obscure like a lyric from his songs or maybe a word if it was myself.... It's personal to her though so...I guess that's good enough, it does look like James though, I'll give the artist that for sure.

I think it'll go to Adele. She's in that category isn't she? Maybe a public vote or if it was an original, James might have stood a chance at!

Down to #14 in the UK, 9 weeks in the Top 20! Sales around 17K, need to check if it has sold more than Shayne already...

Also down to #10 in Ireland, 9 weeks in the Top 10.

"Impossible" has now reached the Top 2 on 4 countries, think it's a record for a winner's song!

    Shayne sold 1.104M....

James is now on 1.115M...assuming he sold about 17k this week. I wish there was a way to find out his worldwide sales...it's probably close to that 1.3M figure we've seen in the press lately.

Considering it's international success I think it's fair to say that Impossible is the most successful winner's single from The X Factor

She didn't write it... she's not making a penny from James' version.
