Rumour has it, king of the U-turn Don Mattrick, president of Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment division is about to leave the company.
After recent events, one could argue that Xbox needs better direction. At the same time, will his departure less than 6 months before launch of Xbox One leave the company in a weakened position?

Apparently so. Didn't they just lay off loads of staff though? Is Mattrick is going to be their saviour?
Looks like he got XBONED!
Since he worked at EA in the 90's early 00's many were expecting him to get CEO of EA.

If there was ever a way to convince people not to buy an Xbox One he himself gave every person distinction. I think cooler heads are now going to prevail, Yusuf Mehdi I hope will be elevated. From interviews and how he is able to communicate with his audience he would be an apt leader for the division.
EDIT: why the hell is tiny url blocked??

There were rumours last week. Though they suggested he was leaving the Xbox division to become just some general high-up person in MS.
The Windows 8 guy left shortly after Windows 8 launched too.
Yup, he can totally screw up the launch of a cash-cow and hand everything over to the main competitor who did similar last time...
Absolutely, I meant to say temporarily and you were right to correct me.

It's even better than being a Premiership manager.
Hey Microsoft if you're reading this - I'm prepared to make a hash of the Xbox Two launch for half the money you paid Mattrick.
I call it an opportunistic exit. Now as the Xbox brand tanks, he can say because he left!
Because people want some idea of where a link goes before they click on it.
Is it really so hard to use the original URL, like this?
