I wonder how that will go down in Middlesbrough, as don't those two clubs, have something of a rivalry?
Also, how does that deal affect City's 25 man sqaud, in terms of having enough youth players?
Either way it is a good deal for Sunderland, that coupled with the Fletcher deal means that they have done very well for themselves recently.
I wouldn't say flawed no, but unless you are going to make the host country run the risk of not actually qualifying for their own World Cup, then there is little else that can be done.
If Brazil actually won a few more friendlies, then they would be higher up.
I think its inevitable that in any system of monitoring you will always find people or indeed teams that "slip through the net" and find themselves in "false positions" or in places they really shouldn't be in.
It was quality wasn't it. Good weekend of footy but game of the weekend was surely Liverpool V City.
Liverpool will be dissapointed but perhaps encouraged by the performance. You wonder if its a sign of big improvement to come or same old, when you consider they drew so many games having had so many chances.
Well it all looks very open so far. Only Chelsea out of the top clubs look unconvincing and some of the less favoured clubs look quite strong. How much will this change over time though?

A lot of teams have missed a trick there i think. I think he is a potentially excellent player if he actually gets a proper run out.

Yes, I think that will benefit the England team, and who knows, might help them up to number two in the world rankings!
Tell me again, why are Brazil only 13th in the World?

Because they have already qulified for the next World Cup, and so have only friendlies to play, and they haven't done that well in them.
So it's a flawed system?

If only there was a suitable analogy .......
AJ has mackem connections so I think that's what swayed his choice. He'd have done well at Liverpool but at Sunderland, he will get games.
I agree but what brought that on?
What a fantastic goal:)
