I really hope Belarus pay attention to the online reaction for Rhythm of Love and don't change it. It's their best chance to qualify since Work Your Magic (since Butterflies qualifying still baffles me).

Agree, me and Timmy are chatting on skype atm - both agree its a great song (my top 3 are very close together), could do with some tweaks to give it more of a punch but Belarus has a habit of totally re-drafting their entry - often to its detriment. It's time they had some faith in their song and backed it instead of undermining it.

Don't mention Butterflies to him, he hates it with a passion :D to the point where i re-enact the keychange when I feel like winding him up :p

The smallest things make me smile. The woman singing along at 2.52 looking like she's loving being in the hall:)

Don't know how long this will stay up tho

Yeah, the Yohio clip in the sidebar there has already racked up more than 70,000 views. Maybe they've relaxed the ruling this year?

Skyline is the type of song I'd usually like but I don't enjoy any part of it.

Porslin on the other hand http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDYYMh_WoFI gets better with every listen. It's definitely this years I din himmel. I'd love youngswede to do a translation!

It seems that way. I've been watching skyline all day.

Seriously hooked to it and Bombo

I agree with you on both counts (). I really want to like Skyline as I loved Shout It Out last year, but I just can't get into it at all. And Porslin is such a beautiful song, plus the fact she seemed so nervous jut added to its charm imo.

I'm the complete opposite. I hated Manboy, In the Club, Amazing etc but love this

There's a first time for everything I suppose :p. Yeah there's something about the singer that makes it even better. It sounds a bit like a lullaby.

My two favourites from last night - Bombo and Porslin. My taste is eclectic if nothing else!

Here are the translated lyrics, according to this site:
    http://4lyrics.eu/mf/mf-2013/anna-jarvinen-porslin/
(and google translate seems to agree, so it must be fairly close)
For twenty years we have had one another
There is no part of you
Which doesn’t fit into a part of me

Yes, you and I have filed each other down
    I can nearly see myself
In what has become of you
Surprises me how quickly it actually happens

    So you, we’ll continue
    Maybe not another twenty more
But until our heart stands completely still

    And you, do you remember?
    What made us so great
    Because I don’t anymore

An affair and a drunken fight
A couple of kids and a new house
A life that has turned inside out

So slowly that it actually happens
    Yes, you don’t notice anything
Until you’ve got water against your cheek
But I have suppressed worse feelings than this

So you, we’ll carry on then?
If not for our own sakes
Then for the children and their calm

    And you, do you see?
That it might feel like shit for you
But imagine what it feels like for me

    Ah… ah…
    Ah… ah…

Google translate offers the word "crap" instead, if that's any better?
Probably best wait for someone like youngswede to offer their opinion ;)

Heartbreak Hotel is really growing on me. I think if they shadowed Yohio's vocals a little more then they could be on to something good. My only fear is that The Ark weren't exactly well received, so this could go the same way.

In other new, I absolutely LOVE Gosa and I'm gutted it didn't get through. It's like Bombo but she can actually sing.
