ISIS have beheaded the second US Journalist and are threatening to behead a British man next.

Is there really anything that can be done to stop this British man being the third?

Probably not. We don't negotiate with terrorists and rightly so.

RIP to both, it was only a matter of time before he saw the same fate, and the British man will also see it. :(

We did it with the IRA and there's been relative peace in NI for years.

Also, what on earth are Western journalists doing in a place like Iraq?:confused:

CNN just showed a clip of the video and was surprised how calm Sotloff is knowing what they are just about to do him.

There must have been a media blackout on David Haines kidnapping/capture; its the first Ive heard of him. Even a quick look on twitter no UK reporter seems to be mentioning it.

How utterly tragic and appalling. I hope they send more support and air strikes to erase this group because they won't stop doing this until they are removed.

How will it stop them? We've done it before in places like Afghanistan and it hasn't worked.

We cant defeat them without total war, and that wont happen.

They are going to be a threat to us, and their fellow muslims who don't agree with them for generations to come.

It was kind of inevitable given the attention the last one managed to garner. Hopefully factionalism sets in and they wipe each other out sooner rather than later.

Yes there is, there's quite a lot that can be done. Our limp-wristed government won't do anything though because they're too scared of angering a certain 'community' over here.

Factionalism will only happen when they are desperate or they get so powerful different individuals want to take over.

They have no quarms about beheading only time before they start infighting with each other.

Perhaps if we stop killing theirs, they will stop killing ours. It's an interesting idea that I would like to see tried. Western countries should make a simply offer to ISIS - We will stop interfering in other countries, launching drone attacks on civilians, invading using falsified "humanitarian intervention" excuses, and in return we'd want ISIS to stop killing our people. It seems that much resentment to the West from people over there is because we invade other countries and install puppet governments to suit our needs, we use drone attacks to kill civilians and we seem to consider ourselves the police force of the world. Why not consider offering to change our attitudes about foreign interference in return for a truce? ISIS consider civilians to be just as legitimate targets as military ones so they see these executions as a fair tit for tat exchange. We kill one of their fighters, they kill a Westerner as revenge.

And let them go back to massacring Iraqi/syrian Christians, yazidis and shia minorities?

And allow these ISIS pukes to commit genocide? Get real.

We let the Nazis get away with it but not this time.

Then you'll have the bleeding heart libtards accusing 'the West' of not acting and allowing genocide to be committed.

If we attampted a full scale military operation against them they'd hide behind women and children - cowardly dogs that they are.

    These people are bloodthirsty murderers.

What exactly are Saudi Arabia doing about all of these muslims being killed by ISIS?
