A bloody good hiding. lol I don't know why but violence towards naughty children just makes me a bit giggly. Probably because when my mum threatened to smack me, it would make me burst into laughter until she completely lost the intention to smack me.

Can't you think hard and just maybe think of an option that doesn't involve physical violence, drugs or therapy?

    A bloody good hiding.

I particularly hate seeing children screaming their heads off in a supermarket and people looking at the parents in disbelief when they smack them in public.

A good smack never hurt anyone, It certainly never hurt me.

Does "Psychological therapy" include the use of electric shocks, Mr Nice and Mr Nasty and all?

I got smacked at school and it didn't do me any harm. I knew right from wrong as a result and have never been violent.

Yes, I agree unruly kids should be smacked.

Does that mean it's ok to go up and smack the parents who smack their kids?

This. I was brought up this way. Never done me any harm. Don't see what the big deal with doing it. As long as you don't use full force and hit more than once, I don't see the issue with it.

Do you honestly think the smacking taught you "right from wrong"?

Something I've always noticed about parents smacking their screaming kids in supermarkets... It never works!! The kid just screams some more.

If an adult can do it to a kid ,then self defence for the child doesn't seem wrong to me.

Should I smack an adult because he wouldn't do as I said or answered me back, and expect to get away without some form of legal action?
    .

BTW..... Is this a joke thread ???

Absolutely because I knew if I did anything wrong I was in for a hiding. I used to tremble in fear if I was sent to the headmaster's office.

Kids need to learn discipline from a young age.

When I was younger I use to get hit with a belt. I guess I did learn from it.
