The fact that a specialist is extremely sceptical along with the fact he was a heavy smoker and drinker for many years makes me think he's in denial about the real cause but that's just imho

I really am unsure whether I should be shocked by this claim or applauding MD for publicising this danger.:o

I never believed (for personal reasons) that he would have successful treatment...........and I am so glad he did.

Its kinda shocking though to take a stand like this on his cancer.

Smoking would be the first thing I'd blame if I had cancer and I smoked. He must be a hardened addict if he absolutely refuses to blame smoking.

HPV type 16, *is* a (very contagious) STD and it *is* most associated with and the primary viral cause of cervical cancer, so cunnilingus is the most logical and likely primary cause, even if there were other probable factors. If you're gonna get it though, I can think of far worse ways than eating out Catherine Zeta Jones

I think they can test the tumour for the virus.

He is to be commended for identifying the origin and hopefully it will ensure that barrier methods for oral sex are chosen.

This virus was also linked to the type of cancer Farrah Fawcett had, but not confirmed I believe.
