MKS/Mutya's Strange Trademarks

I remember reading way back that Mutya Buena won the 'Sugababes' brand for stationary and pencil cases and things of that sort which have been of no use to her.. Earlier I came across this website: http://www.wotyougot.com/18-07-2012/mutya-keisha-siobhan/original-sugababes-revealed which has the trademark application for the 'Mutya Keisha Siobhan' name and noticed that the goods list includes bleaching preperation, scouring and abrasive preperation yet no mention of entertainment services, surely this isn't protecting the name like it is intended?

I know nobody is likely to release music under that name other than MKS but it seems like another massive waste of money for a useless trademark
