    Just finished the biography of JNT that was written a couple of years ago. Not as scandalous as I was expecting.

    I loved the book. Fascinating and enlightening. I'm reading the same biographer's Verity Lambert book at the mo, and it's just as interesting.

    How far did you go and at what point did you get off?

    I'm playing Devil's advocate here to a degree here, but you could argue he was ill and didn't know what he was doing. It's unlikely he wanted his slow & painful death.

    I agree to a certain extent, he was certainly in a bad way towards the end. Whats the biograpgy about Verity like, Is it worth buying ?

    Hmm not heard that before not very pleasant.
    Was just listening to a Nicola interview where she was saying she wasn't aware of all the arguments going on behind the scenes as Colin was quite fatherly towards her and did his best to keep her out of it. She only found out much later how nasty it was all getting.

    I've heard the bus starts off really well but then goes seriously off track half way through the journey and then breaks down! 😀

    Could you give some context to that? I haven;t read the book but have picked up, elsewhere, that includes a section where
    "Companion Nicola Bryant (Peri) recounts an incident at a convention in 1996 where, crazed by jealousy, he spat in her face . An apology and a reconciliation never came. She never spoke to Nathan-Turner again."
    What was it all about?
