On the other hand, there are idiots like me who keep going into a Lars Von Trier film expecting a coherent story, but get a stylised session of neurotic characters, their anxieties and idiosyncratic fears instead. I never learnt this lesson.
If it wasnt for the amount of 'stars' in the film, would this be talked about as much? I didnt like Melancholia or Anti-Christ. I have not seen Dogville but I hear it is his best one but if the other 2 are to go by, it doesnt have much to beat.
